Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Christian
church in Owensville for Ivan Allison, 57, who died Wednesday (13 Jul 1949) night following a heart attack suffered
while driving from Princeton to Owensville.
Mt. Allison was well known in this section as a
musician and piano tuner. He was a native of the Old Union community and
a cousin of Alfred and Lulu Owen of Poseyville.
Buried in Saulmon (Old Union) Cemetery.
