Leo G. Allen, 61, of rural Carmi, Ill., died at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan 27, 1990, at his home.

He was born Nov 10, 1928 in Jeff, Ill., to T. J. Allen and Abbie (Jackson) Cross Allen.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Lou Garrett, a former Posey County resident; a son, David M. of Carmi; a daughter, Gay Barbre of Carmi; two brothers, James of Marietta, Ohio, and Darrell of Carmi; three sisters, Hazel Harrison of Grayville, Ill., Marium Sturm of Carmi and Phyllis White of Harrisburg, Ill; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Kittinger's-Fair chapel in Carmi with burial in Marshall-Ferry Cemetery.
