Wanda R.
Glover Krohn, 86, of Stewartsville, Indiana, born to
Joseph Archibald and Nova Pearl (Wiggins) Wallace on September 4, 1927, in Poseyville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013,
at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
She
graduated from Poseyville High School in 1945 and
retired from the United States Postal Service in 1995 after 20 years. She was a
member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and a Golden Fleece 50 year member
of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving
are her husband: William Krohn; sons: James D. (Lisa)
Glover of Owensboro, Kentucky, Philip D. (Pam) Glover of Evansville, Indiana
and Fred J. (Jeanette) Glover of Stilesville,
Indiana; daughter: Patty (Mike) Knowles of Poseyville,
Indiana; step-sons: Gene A. (Mary) Krohn of Newburgh,
Indiana and Gary W. (Betty) Krohn of Mansfield,
Texas; step-daughter: Angela F. (Rocky) Howard of Stewartsville, Indiana;
sister: Sue (Jim) Summers of Danville, Indiana; 9 grandchildren; 23 great
grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren.
Preceding
her in death were her parents, first husband: Noel L. Glover in 1997; brothers:
Dave, Junior, Harry and Elam Wallace; sisters: Lois Huck and Florence DeFur and a grandson: Joshua N. Glover in 2006.
Funeral services
will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial in the Poseyville
Cemetery. Rev Kerry Davis, Rev. Paul Huntsman and Rev. Jason Farrar
officiating.
Visitation
will be from 2–8 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at the funeral home where
there will be Eastern Star memorial services at 7 p.m.
