Harold
Kenneth Bratton, 90, of Poseyville, Indiana, born to
Paul R. and Ursa (Arnold) Bratton on August 26, 1923,
in Bellmont, Illinois, passed away Monday, November
25, 2013, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
He was a
member of the Griffin Christian Church and had worked for TenBarge
Oil Company and Damson Oil Company and also farmed. He was a World War II
Veteran and a member of the Poseyville American
Legion, Military Honor Guard and Good Sams Camping
Club.
Surviving
are his wife: Farrol Jean (Compton) Bratton;
daughter: Donna L. (Virgil) Hogan of Owensville, Indiana; 2 sons: K. Michael
(Cheryl) Bratton of Poseyville, Indiana and Daniel
Bratton of Evansville, Indiana; sister: Phyllis (Ken) Webb of Widefield, Colorado; 5 grandchildren: Sarah (Israel) Alcantara, Kimberly (Kris) Pauckner,
Eric Bratton, Aaron Bratton and Kevin (Amanda) Bratton and 3 great
grandchildren: Zachary Hogan, Brynn & Noah Duvall.
Preceding
him in death were his parents; sister: Mary Hobbs and brothers: Arnold, Henry,
Milton and Chester Bratton.
Funeral
services will be 3 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the Werry Funeral
Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial in the Poseyville Cemetery.
Visitation
will be from 1–3 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the funeral home.
