David Ray
Hill, 49, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013.
He was born
October 16, 1963 in Evansville, IN.
David had
been a laborer working in the oil fields, and had worked as a respiratory
therapist, and had made eyeglasses. He graduated from Mt. Vernon Senior High
School with the class of 1981. David was the current president of Black
Township Fire and Rescue and was a member of First Baptist Church.
He is
survived by his parents, Bob and Virginia Hill; brother, Dan (Rebecca) Hill of
Garden Grove, CA.; aunts, Bonnie Bergstrom of Mt. Vernon and Pamela Pruitt of
St. Charles, MO.; niece, Bethany Hill; nephews, Zachary and Jeremy Hill;
grandmother, Mattie Hazel Tyson of St. Charles, MO; special friends, Pam and
Briar McDowell of Evansville; and several cousins.
Services
will be held at 11:30 am Friday, October 11, 2013 at First Baptist Church 1205
N. Main St. Mt. Vernon, IN with Rev. Derrick Ousley
officiating and burial to follow at Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Visitation
will be from 9:00 am until 11:30 am service time Friday at the church.
