Paul
Clifford Fletchall, 94, of Poseyville,
Indiana, passed away Monday October 14, 2013 at the Prairie Lakes Health Campus
in Noblesville, Indiana. He was born to Earl and Rilla
(Stallings) Fletchall on January, 28, 1919 in Poseyville, Indiana.
Paul was a
1937 graduate of Robb Township Schools and the University of
Wisconsin School of Banking. He was a lifelong member of Indiana Bankers
Association, American Legion, Poseyville Masonic
Lodge #632, Evansville Country Club and The Evansville Kennel Club. He served
in the US Navy during World War II. After the war, he began a 45 year career
with Farmers Bank and Trust Company (now Fifth Third) where he retired as
President in 1985. He was also President of the Poseyville
Telephone Company (now TDS). In addition, he served 14 years as member and
President of the Board of Education of the Metropolitan School District of
North Posey County.
Surviving
are a son: Thomas Fletchall of Poseyville,
Indiana; a daughter: Janet Lohman of Indianapolis,
Indiana; six grandchildren: Eric & Brad Hagstrom,
Tracey Fletchall Carpentier,
Christopher, Timothy, & Craig Fletchall and 12
great grandchildren.
Preceding
him in death were his parents; his wife of 70 years: Madeline (Schiff) Fletchall and brothers: Earl, John, Richard, & William
Kenneth Fletchall.
Funeral
services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at the Werry Funeral Home
in Poseyville, Indiana, Pastor Paul Huntsman
officiating, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville,
Indiana.
Visitation will
be from 4–8 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2013, at the funeral home.
