Martha Helen Curtis, 61, of Owensville, Indiana, born to Harold and M. Irene (Solomon) Gross on February 23, 1952, in Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

Surviving are her husband: Jerry Lee Curtis; 3 daughters: Starletta (Jason) Thompson of Lee’s Summitt, Missouri, Angel Wilhite of Ft. Branch, Indiana and Angela Benton of Uttica, Kentucky; 3 sons: Joshua Graham of Newburgh, Indiana, Ryan (Shannon) Graham of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Andy (Shea) Curtis of Uttica, Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; 3 brothers: Joe Gross of Wadesville, Indiana, David Gross of Poseyville, Indiana and Daniel Gross of Brandon, Mississippi; a sister: Katrina Paul of Poseyville, Indiana; step-parents: David A. & Crystal Schile of Poseyville, Indiana.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial to follow in Maumee Cemetery in Johnson, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time, Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the funeral home.
