Scot Alan Meissner, 34, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at his residence in Evansville.

He was born June 25, 1979 in Evansville, IN to Tom and Mary Jane (Dick) Meissner.

He graduated in 1997 from Mt. Vernon Senior High School, and had been an adult representative of Easter Seals in 1996.

Scot was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Dick and Alice McFadden, and Thomas U. and Nellie Meissner.

He is survived by his wife, Loren (Boutcher) Meissner; two sons, Kodi and Kaleb Meissner; his parents; Tom and Jane Meissner, brother, Dave (Holly) Meissner; grandmother-in-law, Mildred Boutcher; niece, Lillian Layman; nephews, Connor and Mason Meissner; great nephew, Zane Layman; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, August 26, 2013 at Schneider Funeral Home 512 Main St. in Mt. Vernon with Bro. Mark Tabor officiating.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm service time on Monday at the funeral home.
