Juana Sue Wassmer,
79, of Poseyville, Indiana, born to Arthur Cavit and Ella Cale (Wilkinson)
Reynolds on September 27, 1933, in Stewartsville, Indiana, passed away
Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at VNA Plus Charlier Hospice
Center in Evansville, Indiana surrounded by her family.
She graduated from Poseyville High School in 1951 and was an avid sports fan
(IU, Colts, Pacers and the North Posey Vikings). She was a member of the
American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Tercera Club, and
St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir.
Owner/Operator of Body Slim in Poseyville, Indiana.
She was actively involved in the arts where she was an award winning artist at
the Hoosier Salon Art Gallery in New Harmony, Indiana, a co-founder of the Red
Lantern Art Gallery located in the Red Wagon Restaurant in Poseyville,
Indiana, and a member of the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana. Her great
joy in life was her family and attending her children and grandchildren's
various events.
Surviving are her husband of 59
years: Robert J. "Bob" Wassmer; daughter:
Pam (Alan) Spahn of Poseyville,
Indiana; 4 sons: Steve (Cinda) Wassmer
of Wadesville, Indiana, David (Lori) Wassmer, Kevin
(Kim) Wassmer and Mike (Leeanna)
Wassmer all of Poseyville,
Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister: Ruth (Pete) Straub
and 4 brothers: Malcolm Reynolds, Joe (Barbara) Reynolds, Herbert Reynolds and
Claude (Bette) Reynolds all of Poseyville, Indiana.
Preceding her in death were her
parents and 2 brothers: Bob Reynolds and Paul Reynolds.
Funeral services will be 10:00
a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Poseyville, Indiana with burial in the church cemetery.

p.m., Monday, August 5, 2013, at the Werry Funeral
Home, Poseyville Chapel with a memorial service at
7:30 p.m.
