Melba McDurmon, 90, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Mt. Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born August 8, 1922 in Posey County, IN to Victor and May (Cisne) Hornick.

She was a hair dresser.

Melba was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd “Smiley” McDurmon, daughter Vickie Robison and son A. Craig Alldredge.

She is survived by her grandson, Larry Robinson of Mt. Vernon.

Committal service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday June 27, 2013 at Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum- Heritage Chapel with entombment to follow.
