Debra "Deb" Lynne Baldwin, 60, of Houston,
TX, formerly of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013, at MD
Anderson in Houston.
Deb was born July 1, 1953, in Evansville, to the
late Freddie and Ruth Anne (Hagar) Baldwin of Mt. Vernon, IN.
She attended Farmersville Elementary and later Mount Vernon High school. Deb
was a 1982 Presidents List Graduate of Sothern Illinois University with a
degree in Accounting and gained her CPA license later that same year. A former
resident of Carmi, Harrisburg and Robinson in Illinois, she moved to Houston,
TX for work in 1999. She was currently employed in the public works sector at
the City of Houston Accounting Division as a managing auditor. She loved her
job and was surrounded by a very special group at her work place. Her family
cannot thank them enough for all that they did. Mr. Godwin Okoro,

Deb enjoyed friends and family, cooking, eating out, traveling, riding
motorcycles, being outdoors, Home improvement projects and furniture
restoration and her dog Jack. She brought so much joy to all she met, and truly
touched the lives of many.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rita Anne of Mount Vernon,
IN; and brother in-law, Gary Stone of Carmi, IL.
Deb is survived by a brother and sister in-law, Dan and Dana Baldwin of Mt.
Vernon, IN; sister, Dee Stone of Carmi, IL; nieces and nephews, Daniel and Sara
Wilson of Carmi, IL, Nathan Baldwin of Danville, IL, Ben and Nichole
"Nicky" Baldwin of Evansville and Julie Baldwin of Murphysboro, IL;
grand-nieces, Taytum Pearce of Benton, IL and Madyson
Cato of Harrisburg, IL; cousins, Joyce and Bruce Rath
of Macedonia IL, Gary and Ann Baldwin of Mt Vernon, IN; her good friends, Bod Gorski and Jack Baldwin of Houston; and her Houston family
Merle, Carol and Chris Parker.
Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel,
2100 West Illinois Street, Evansville, officiated by Pastor Stan Hoffman, with
burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, IN. Friends may visit Thursday
from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
