Jerry Lee Williams, 46, of Poseyville, Indiana, born to Leroy and Judy (Bowman) Williams on November 8, 1966, in Bedford, Indiana, went to his Heavenly Home surrounded by his loving
family Saturday, June 8, 2013,
at his home in Poseyville, Indiana after a short battle with cancer.
He graduated from Gibson
Southern High School in 1985 and from Vincennes University in 1987. He was a member of Crossroads Christian
Church in Newburgh, Indiana. He was involved with and intensely loved all local
community sporting events and North Posey Youth Sports programs. He coached the
Evansville Hornets AAU basketball and baseball at New Harmony High
School in
2010. He worked at A&A Metal Products in Evansville, Indiana as an Automation Engineer.
Surviving are his one true
love and wife of 25 years: Kim Williams; 2 sons whom he worshipped: Tanner, age
21 and Drake, age 14; parents: Leroy and Judy Williams of Haubstadt, Indiana;
his only sister whom he loved dearly: Cheryl (Tim) Lindauer
of Wadesville, Indiana; sister-in-law: Jill Hart of Sullivan, Illinois; sister
and brother-in-law: Kyle and Michelle Knop of
Strasburg, Illinois; nieces: Deana Lindauer, Ali
Hart, Kendall & Kayla Knop; nephew: Derek Lindauer; mother and father-in-law: Richard and Judy
Collins of Bethany, Illinois and grandmother-in-law: Bernadine Collins of
Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the Werry Funeral Home,
Poseyville Chapel with burial in the Poseyville Cemetery. Minister Curtis Carwile officiating.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2013, at the funeral home.
