Susie (Geisler) Ward, 69, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Deaconess in Evansville.

She was born June 7, 1943 ,in Evansville the daughter of Dick and Dorothy (Garrett) Geisler.

Susie was a graduate of North Posey High School class of 1961 and retired from sales. She was a member of the Griffin Ruritan, Eagles Auxiliary 427, American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie (Jerry) Erbacher of Mount Vernon and Cindy (Jim) Fifer of Griffin; five grandchildren, Clint, Kayce and Megan Erbacher, Christopher and Paige Fifer; sister, Ann Kay (Roy) Weedman; a niece Heather Teets and nephews Bryan and Dirk Bulkley; six great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronald C. Ward on Aug. 9, 2002.

Service will be Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Bart Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Griffin.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and noon until the service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
