Ronald Ray Marvel, 60, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 in Evansville.

He was born on March 10, 1953 in Evansville the son of Doyle R. and Dolores O. (Rice) Marvel.

Ron was a graduate of North Posey High School Class of 1971 and a truck driver for Mike Market Trucking.

Survivors include his wife, Sharlene; step-daughters, Shannon Hyslop and Nikki Hartman; step-grandchildren, Jordan Orshovski, Austin Hyslop and Gavin Hartman; parents, Doyle and Dolores Marvel; sister, Brenda (Jim) Cornaire; brothers, Keith (Mary) Marvel and Michael (Susan) Marvel; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Service will be Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with the Rev. Darrell Rice officiating. Burial will be in the AntiochCemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home.
