Elizabeth A. House, 96, of Grayville, Illinois born September 25, 1916 in Bug Town, Indiana to William and Bertha (Brandenstein) York, died Monday, April 29, 2013 at her home in Grayville, Illinois.

She is survived by a son: Jerry House of Dover, Delaware; a sister: Dorothy Curtis of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; a sister in law: Grace York, of New Harmony, Indiana; grandchildren: Angela (Jim) Evans of Salmon, Idaho, Chris (Greg) Winter of Ellery, Illinois, Teri (Rick) Conner of Grayville, Illinois, Sheila House, Darla (Charlie) Agani, Mike House, Mathew House and Clayton House and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Ora A. House; a son: William A. House; a daughter: Betty Sue Wilson; siblings: Olivia (Noel) Overton, Arthur (Thelma) York, G. Elbert York and Marshall (Dorothy/Anna) York and a granddaughter: Debra Wilson.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Werry Funeral Home in New Harmony, Indiana, with Dustin Hawkins officiating and burial in the Poseyville Cemetery.

Friends may call at 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
