Norma Pearl Hidbrader, 92, of Wadesville, Indiana, born to Roy and Grace (Barton) Wasson on September 24, 1920 in New Harmony, Indiana, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Woodlands Convalescent Center in Newburgh.

She was a member of the Eastern Stars for 50 plus years and had attended New Harmony First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons: Larry (Rebecca) Hidbrader of Newburgh, Indiana and Owen (Linda) Hidbrader of Evansville, Indiana; brother: Gene Wasson of New Harmony, Indiana; 3 grandsons: Robert of Valdosta, Georgia, Asa of Houston, Texas and Jon Hidbrader of Goldsboro, North Carolina; 5 great-grandchildren: Amanda, Haley, Kelly, Kelcey and Emma.

Preceding Norma in death were her husband of 41 years: Merle, and a brother: Jack Wasson

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 29, 2013 at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Wadesville, Indiana. Rev. Veltri Taylor officiating.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the funeral home with an Eastern Star Service at 2 p.m.
