Bruce Thomas Sailer, 68, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Little Sisters of the Poor in Evansville.

He was born on November 11, 1944 in Mt. Vernon, IN to Wilburn and Mildred (Thomas) Sailer.

Bruce was a hairstylist in Mt. Vernon and Evansville. He loved antiques, home interior decorating, and growing flowers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steven; friend, Paul Lange.

Bruce is survived by his uncle, Robert; brother, Randolph; two nieces; two nephews; and first cousins.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Schneider Funeral Home 512 Main St. in Mt. Vernon with burial to follow in Bellefontaine Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, IN.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, April 1, 2013 at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the sisters and caregivers and all the wonderful people at Little Sisters of the Poor.
