Judy Fisher, 72, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

She was born on May 22, 1940 in Poseyville, IN to George and Pauline (Stallings) Seib.

Judy was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. She worked as the Office Manager for over 30 years with Drs. John and Gordon Vogel, Dr. Matthew Lee, Dr. Kyle Rhapp, Dr. William Sutton, and Dr. James Rice. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed family vacations, especially Clearwater Florida where she could visit the ocean.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, R. “Gary” Fisher in 1991; sister in law, Mary Ann Padgett.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Julie Fisher; son, Jay (Tammy) Fisher; grandchildren, Andrew, Jena, and Gary; niece, Jill Padgett. Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2013 at St. Matthew Catholic Church 421 Mulberry St. in Mt. Vernon with Fr. James Sauer officiating and burial to follow in St. Francis Cemetery in Poseyville.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Schneider Funeral Home 512 Main St. in Mt. Vernon and continued on Monday from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm at the funeral home.
