He married Elizabeth Somers

James worked for many years at Schroeder Marathon. Along with his wife he owned
and operated Westside Laundry and Recycling.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and
Jeanne Hassell of Mt. Vernon; one daughter and
son-in-law, Deborah and Mike Smith of Ft. Mitchell, AL; seven grandchildren,
Angel, Norris, Jonathan Lacer, Holly Newman, Eric Angermeier,
Lauren Sprunk, Jennifer Hassell
and Keith Hassell; eight great-grandchildren; six
sisters, Betty Farrar, Doris Fetzer, Edith Farrar,
Jeanette Conklin, Brenda Guinn and Carolyn Rice.
He is preceded in death by one son, Philip and one daughter, Terri Angermeier.
