Stephen worked as a butcher at IGA, Tolers, and BuyLow. He had been a member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by four brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Kristina, Gary,
and Brian and Pam Phillips all of Mt. Vernon, and Roger and Patty Phillips of
Owensboro, KY; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Gross of Troy, IL, Mary
and Bernard Bigge of St. Phillips, Janet and Dennis
Gambrel of Owensville, IN and Diane and Herman Turner of Lebanon, IN; a
step-son, Chris Calderon. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Stanley Alvin
Phillips.
