Charles Everett "Chuck" Hanmore, 73, of North Vernon, Ind., died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born Aug. 15, 1939 in Mount Vernon, the son of the late Everett and Beulah Mason Hanmore.

He married Billie Davis on Aug. 15, 1996 and she survives.

In addition to his wife, Billie, Chuck is survived by five daughters, Sherrie Greene of North Vernon, Debbie Ricketts of Mount Vernon, Becky Minton, of Monroe, N.C., Lora Thomas of Seymour, Tammy Ricketts, of New Harmony; one son, Chuck Hanmore; a brother, Carl Hanmore; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Claude, Richard and John Hanmore; and one sister, Inez "Sissy" Hanmore.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon. Rev. Anthony Sweeney and Bro. Ricky Persons will officiate. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
