Son of Andrew J & Sarah Jane (Cavett) Derling.

Note:  Information from "

Per Steve Malone:  "There is no record of a Winfield Scott Derling, b. 1819 in Census records of Posey County, Indiana and surrounding counties. There is, however, a Winfield S. Derling, b. 1849 who was the son of Andrew Derling and Sarah Jane Cavett, whose mother is also interred at the Simon Williams family cemetery. He is not found in the 1860 Census record of his parents, so it is thought that the year of birth was misread or mis-transcribed and should be 1849."

No stone found in 2013 or 2014.

The following names appear in "Posey County Cemetery Records, 1814-1979" by Carroll O Cox.
He apparently entered these names for this cemetery based on "hearsay" and cites no sources for the possible burials.
An earlier survey of the cemetery made in 1946 by Robert Turman, makes no mention of any of them.
Both Steve Malone (2013) and myself (2014) found no trace of any stones or markers for these people.
