Pike County,

Located on the N edge of Petersburg, between Walnut Hills & White River. It has been said that as

many as 100 people may be buried here. Many were Canal Workers during the middle 1800's, and

others came by way of the ferry. Cholera & yellow fever epidemics caused mass burials and no stones

were erected.
