DEED BOOK
This Indenture
witnesseth that John Wilkins of Parke County Indiana in consideration of Eight
hundred dollars to him paid by Henry L Linton of the same county and state, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell and
convey to the said Henry L Linton his heirs and assigns forever, the following
real estate in Parke County and State of Indiana and described as follows
towit: Being the interest both present and prospective of the said John Wilkins
as an heir of Michael Wilkins late of said county deceased, in all the real
estate of which he died seized and possessed: which lands were divided by
partition in the Parke Probate Court at the March term 1848 among the several
heirs and the widow of said deceased, and lot No 4 his share of said lands, and
which he now conveys as well as his prospective interests in the widows dower
being Lot No 5, to said Henry L Linton: For a particular description of the
lands of said deceased, and the partition and allotment thereof amongst the
said heirs of Michael Wilkins, direct reference to the final record of said
Court Vol No. 6 pages 154-159 inclusive, will fully show. Together with all the privileges and
appurtenances to the same belonging: To have and To Hold
the same to the said Henry L Linton his heirs and assigns forever. The grantors his heirs and assigns hereby
covenanting with the grantee his heirs and assigns that the title so conveyed
is clear from all encumbrances, that he is lawfully seized of the premises
aforesaid as of a sure, perfect and indefeasible estate of inheritance in fee
simple; and that he will Warrant and defend the same against all claims
whatsoever. In witness whereof the said

grantor in the above conveyance, and acknowledged the same to be his voluntary
