Be it
remembered that on the 30th day of July 1833 personally appears before me
Arthur Potts Sheriff of Parke County, Lewis Thomas and Edmon Brockway who
acknowledge themselves to owe and be indebted to the State of Indiana, in the
sum of twenty five dollar each to be levied of their respective goods chattels
lands and tenements if default be made in the following condition  which condition is that the said Lewis Thomas
be and appear before the judges of the Parke Circuit Court to be holden at the
court house in Rockville on the third Monday in August next and answer Said
State in an indictment for an assault and battery and not depart said county
without leave and abide the judgement ?
