Cremation was chosen and a memorial service is pending for Wayne W. Wilson, 91, Mission, KS, formerly of West Baden Springs, who died June 13 at Sweet Life at Rosehill Nursing Center in Mission, KS. Born Oct. 30, 1915, in West Baden Springs, he was the son of Alonzo and Mae Toliver Wilson. He married Helen R. Lane on Nov. 23, 1934, and she survives. he was a partner in Wilson-Drake Appliances in Mission, KS. Survivors include his wife, Helen Wilson; and two daughters, Sue Wilson and Deborah Wood bury. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Fonda Sturgeon. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Southridge Presbyterian church or Heartland Hospice, both of Mission, KS.
James E. Lane

Funeral services were conducted at Callahan-Debaun Funeral Home in Terre haute for James E. "Jim" Lane, 78, Terre Haute, formerly of Orange County, who died May 18 in Terre Haute. Born Aug. 1, 1928 in Orange County, he was the son of Chester G. and Ermel Toliver Lane. He married Patricia A. Hagan on Dec. 18, 1946, and she preceded him in death in February, 1992. he was employed as a certified public accountant early in his career. He was a teacher at General Motors institute in Flint, MI, and at Indiana State University. Survivors include one daughter, Nicky Margolin of Anderson; one son, Robert Lane of Terre Haute; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and two brothers, Robert Lane of Charlottesville, VA, and Harry Lane of Chestertown, MD. He was preceded in death by one son, Philip Michael Lane. Officiating the service was Abe Miller. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery in Terre Haute.

John E. Meehan Jr.
April 13, 1933 - July 6, 2007
Born April 13, 1933 in West Baden Springs, he was the son of John E. Sr. and Myrtle Dickens Meehan. He married Marsha Minton on Dec. 17, 1982 and she survives. He was a retired employee in maintenance at U.S. Gypsum in Shoals, and was a retired pastor at Concord Church in Paoli. He was a member of Cane Creek Christian Church in French Lick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam and Korea.
