Lee Wineinger & Evert Bledsoe
Brothers-in-law Lee & Evert shooting what is believed to be a Kentucky long rifle, origin unknown. This rifle stood in a closet at the home of Martin & Missouri Wineinger near Cuzco, Indiana. This photo was taken at a family gathering in October, 1928. A cousin & I ran across this old gun while snooping around as 6-7 year olds. As a kid, I couldn't lift it to a shoulder position. The gun eventually went to Evert and Maude Wineinger Bledsoe, who lived in nearby Norton, Indiana. It was lost in a fire at the Bledsoe home in the late 1950's.
