Wanda Puckett, 82, of Paoli, passed away at 5:45 AM on December 24, 2018 at her home.
She was born November 27, 1936 in Orange County, IN, the daughter of Harold W. and Ruth (Crockett) Edwards.
She married Carl Puckett on September 4, 1955 and he survives.
She
was an active member of the Orleans Christian Church. She drove a
special education school bus for 29 years in Paoli. She was a graduate
of the Orleans High School class of 1955.
She is survived by her
husband of Paoli; two daughters, Meliah Hammes and Shelly A. Hamm of
Paoli; two grandchildren, Major Jerrod C. Hammes and wife Shannon of
San Diego, CA and Malia M. Puckett.
Preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Carla Ruth Puckett and one brother, Max E. Edwards.
The
funeral will be on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Orleans
Christian Church with Pastor Thomas Bostic officiating. Burial will
follow in
Stampers Creek Cemetery, Paoli.
Friends are invited to visitation at the church on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
