Maurice W. Trinkle

Maurice W. Trinkle, 64 of Orleans Route 3 (Leipsic) died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday at the Orange County Hospital.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Leipsic United Methodist Church.

Survivors are his wife, the former Thelma Gilstrap; a son, Laverne Trinkle of Seymour, one sister, Mrs. Rowena Worrell of Orleans; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Ochs Funeral Homes in Orleans with burial in Liberty Christian Cemetery near Orleans.

Thelma Trinkle

Thelma Trinkle, age 77, of Orleans Rt. 3 died Saturday, June 22, 1991, at 6:15 a.m. at her home.

She was a member of Leipsic United Medthodist Church and a retired kitchen employee of Orange County Hospital.

Mrs. Trinkle was born July8, 1913, in Salem to Walter and Jennie (Gentry) Gilstrap,  She married February 21, 1932 to Maurice Trinkle, who preceded her in death April 25, 1974.

Survivors are two brothers, Robert Gilstrap and Leo Gilstrap of Orleans; two sisters, Rowena Hopkins of Leipsic and Maxine Doup of Mitchell; seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 25, at Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Ruth Starr officiating.  Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Caroline A. Wright

Mrs. Wash C. Wright - Caroline A., the daughter of Abram K. and Melissa J. Hardman, was born July 4th, 1851, died August 5, 1918, age 67 years, 1 month and one day.  She united with the Christian church at Union-Pinhood at the age of 14 years, later she moved her memberhip to Liberty where she had been a member ever since.

She was married to Washington C. Wright, Oct. 4, 1874.  To that union was born three children, James A., the first born died September 8, 1876.  She leaves a husband, one daughter, Jennie M. Trinkle, one son, L. May Wright, one brother and sister, D.L. Hardman and Mrs. Mose Jones, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services was conducted at Liberty yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, Rev. John Marshall officiating.---The Progress Examiner
