Glenn Dencil Crowder

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday  from Tabor Funeral Home for
Glenn Dencil Crowder, 51,French Lick, who died at 4:20 pm Wednesday  July 12, 1978 
at Orange County Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack. He had been admitted
to the hospital on Monday evening.
Rev. Bobby Dean Qualkenbush will officiate at services. Burial will be in Mount Lebanon Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by French Lick American Legion Post 76, of which he was a member. He was a municipal  employee of the French Lick Street Dept. He was an Army veteran, serving in WW II. 
He was born Nov. 5, 1926 in Dubois County, a son of Everett and Pearl Freeman Crowder.
On Nov. 1, 1946 he married the former Betty DeWitt, and she survives. Also surviving
are three sons, Michael, Ronald and Stephen all of French Lick; two daughters, Mrs. 
Glenda Rainey of West Baden and Mrs. Sharon Underhill of French Lick; his mother,
Mrs. Pearl Crowder of French Lick; four brothers, Austin Crowder of Loogootee, 
Roy Dean and Clyde  of Shoals and Forrest of French Lick; four sisters Mrs. Evelyn
Traylor and Mrs. Audrey Noble both of French Lick; Mrs. Colleen Sample of Kokomo; 
and Mrs. Monalea Rose of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.
