Miss Verna REYNOLDS, of South Bend, is spending her Christmas vacation with home folks. Mrs. Mabel BENNETT and children visited with Mrs. Hester TOLBERT Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Luther SPENCER, of Indianapolis, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. JONES. A lovely Christmas dinner was spread in the old Tolbert store. The room could hardly have been recognized as a store building for its shelves were bare, its windows dressed in lace curtains and Santa Clauses were peering between crepe paper decorations, its counter was laden with savory Chirstmas dinner and a large Christmas tree stood in another corner. Happy children ran in and out the door instead of customers. The afternoon was spent in taking pictures, playing games, singing and just visiting. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Frank TOLBERT, the proud parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed TOLBERT and family of Saltillo, Mrs. Ora McCART and children, except Maude, who was ill and Mr. McCART stayed with her, Mr. and Mrs. David M. TOLBERT and family, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar TOLBERT and family of Orleans, and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley BENNETT and family.
