27 Mar. 1845. Administrator ordered to sell crops. Adm. Files petition to sell Real Estate in the SW 1/4 Sec. 16, T1S, R1E; and 15 acres in the NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 Sec. 21, T1S, R1E and part of Sec. 9. (Orange Co., IN Probate Order Book 2, p. 329.
(Not dated, probably 1845). WILLIAM HOLLIDAY, Adm. of JOHN HOLLOWELL, dec'd. THOMAS J. THROOP, appointed Guardian of JONATHAN HOLLOWELL, GEORGE HOLLOWELL, NANCY E. HOLLOWELL, MIRIAM HOLLOWELL, SILAS HOLLOWELL and LEE HOLLOWELL, all minors under the age of twnety one years of age. (Orange Co., IN Probate Order Book 2, p. 352).
27 Oct. 1845. AARON SANDERS and NANCY, his wife, to JOHN HOLLOWELL, SR. and unto JOHN HOLLOWELL, JR., his heirs and assigns forever - 20 acres in the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4; except 7 acres in the NW corner; and 13 acres in NE 1/4 of SE 1/4; also 39 acres in SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Sec. 22, T1S, R1E. (Orange Co., IN Deed Book 12, p. 62).
(Not dated, probably 1845). Commissioner set off dower to HANNAH HOLLOWELL, etc. Part of the SW 1/4 Sec. 16, T1S, R1E, being all that portion of said tract south of Patoka Creek; also 15 acres in NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Sec. 21, T1S, R1E; also E ½ of SE 1/4 of Sec. 9, T1S, R1E; also interest in the W ½ of SE 1/4 Sec. 16, same held by School Commissioners. Laid off 70 acres in E ½ of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 9 - Dower Estate to HANNAH HOLLOWELL. (Orange Co., IN Probate Order Book 2, p. 494).
(Not dated, probably 1845). Commissioner sold part of the NW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Sec. 21, T1S, R1E - 13 ½ acres to JOHN LINE. Also part of the SW 1/4 of Sec. 16, T1S, R1E, that portion south of Patoka Creek to JOSHUA CARTWRIGHT. Dower estate to HANNAH HOLLOWELL. (Orange Co., IN Probate Book 2, p. 495).

(Orange Co., IN Deed Book 18, p. 141).
