An original painting depicting the old Orleans Seminary or Academy later the Orleans Grade School that stood in historic Congress Square for over 150 years. The painting is based on an actual historic photograph. The “Orleans 200” Committee commissioned Morgan to create the painting especially for the Orleans Bicentennial Celebration.
