Enlisted
on 5 December 1944 at Indianapolis, Indiana. Trained at Camp Blanding, Florida
and Fort Ord, California. Assigned to the 77th Infantry Division in the Pacific
Theater. Served on Mariana Islands, Saipan, Okinawa and Philippines Islands.
Discharged on 17 November 1946.
