Harrison,Indiana.Served with the 68th Tank Battalion,Company A,6th
Armored Division,"Super Sixth". Killed in Action on 31 July 1944 by
a booby trap,near Muneville-Sur-Mer,Brittany. Interred at Normandy
American Cemetery and Memorial,France. Awards include the Purple
Heart Medal[posthumous].
