World War II Veteran. Entered service on 10 February 1942 at Fort Benjamin Harrison,Indiana.Served with the 68th Tank Battalion,Company A,6th Armored Division,"Super Sixth". Killed in Action on 31 July 1944 by a booby trap,near Muneville-Sur-Mer,Brittany. Interred at Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial,France. Awards include the Purple Heart Medal[posthumous].
