Enlisted on 8 February 1943 at Louisville, Kentucky. Retired in 1970. Was assigned to the 128th Ordnance Medium Maintenance Company 6th Armored Division in the European Theater of Operation World War II. Also served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Ralph is buried at Fort Sill Post Cemetery, Oklahoma.
