Korea war veteran,Served with the 7th Cavalry Regiment Company B 1st Battalion 1st Cavalry Division. A medic he was killed in action on 29 January 1951 while tending his wounded comrades in South Korea.Awards include The Bronze Star Medal, The Purple Heart Medal,The Combat Medical Badge,The Korean Service Medal,The United Nations Service Medal,The National Defense Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal.
