Enlisted
on 15 February 1943 at Louisville, Kentucky. Trained at Camp Swift, Texas and
Fort Leonard, Missouri. Assigned to the 475th Infantry Regiment part of the Mars
Task Force in Burma. Flown to China to the Chinese Combat Command working with
the Chinese Army in the field. Discharged on 20 November 1945.
