Obituary

Edna Hackney, 81, of Orleans, passed away at 6:30 PM on March 3, 2014 at Paoli Health and Living in Paoli, IN She married Charles Clifton Hackney and he preceded her in death. She was born October 4, 1932 in Jonesville, VA, the daughter of Ray and Eula (Thomas) Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Christian Church. She is survived by one daughter, Jamie (Ken) Hamming of Middleville, MI; two sons, William Hackney of Orleans and Anthony Hackney of Orleans; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Walter Hackney and one sister, Drucella Gibson. The funeral will be on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Larry Alvey officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Christian Cemetery in Orleans, IN Friends are invited to visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until service time.
