DEPOSITION TAKEN BEFORE A FIELD EXAMINER OF THE VETERANS AMDINISTRATION

PERSON DEPOSED:  	ESTHER SELFE

Esther SELFE:   I am white, female, married, age __, reside with my husband, Bennie SELFE at R. R. 1, Paoli, Indiana.  I have heretofore submitted an affidavit on behalf of Inice B. HOLLEN.  I am not related to her or James DAVIS and have no interest in the outcome of this case.

Q:  You have heard the questions and answers in your husband's deposition.  Do you know whether his answers are true for that part of the period covered thereby following the date of your marriage to him, April, 23, 1934?
A:  His answers are true, and I would have answered them the same as he did.  I did not meet either DAVIS or Inice HOLLEN until I came down with my husband to spend vacations here in our house before we moved down here.  I don't know anything about their family affairs prior to then.  By the time I first saw Woodrow in due course after we moved down here he was past 21 years of age.

Q:  I have no further questions.  Do you have anything to add?
A:  No.
