Ernest Zuck, 84, of Rt. 6, Crawfordsville, at 5:45 p. m. Thursday in Culver Hospital,where he had been since Saturday. A former grocery store owner of Waynetown and a farmer, he was born Sept 14, 1881 in Montgomery County to Newt and Catherine Shumake (r) Zuck. He was married to Uma Wilkinson at Waynetown April 12, 1908. He was a member of the Christian Church at Wallace and was educated in the Waynetown and Mills school. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Edwards with whom he made his home; a son, Gerald of Omaha, Neb; a granddaughter, Mrs. Suzanne Smith of Omaha and a nephew, Rev. Ralph Watson of New Market. He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred and a sister, Bessie. Services will be at 10:30 a. m. Monday at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. Rev. John Servies and Paul E. Million will officiate. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p. m. Sunday.
