Waynetown, April 18 – Mrs. Catherine Zuck, widow of J. Newton Zuck, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Welba Watson, three miles southwest of Waynetown Sunday night, following a few weeks illness resulting from paralysis. Mrs. Zuck was born near Newberry, Ind, Sept 17, 1850 the daughter of Daniel and Susanne Slickard Shumaker. For seven years she was a resident of Crawfordsville but had spent the greater part of her married life in or near Waynetown. Mrs. Zuck was a member of the Lutheran Church. Those surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Welby Watson; one son, Ernest Zuck of Wallace, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. One half sister, Mrs. Anna Nugent, also survives. The funeral will be conducted form the home of the daughter Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 with the Rev. John Servies in charge.
