Wallace, April 1 – Mrs. Uma Zuck, 57, prominent Wallace woman and a former school teacher, died at her home three miles northwest of Wallace at 11:30 o’clock Friday morning. Her death followed a stroke of apoplexy suffered at 8 o’clock Friday morning. Mrs. Zack was born August 31, 1880 near Wallace, the daughter of Abram and Caroline Bruner Wilkinson and was married to H. Ernest Zuck April 12, 198. She was an active member of the Wallace Christian Church. Mrs. Zuck taught school for nine years, three years of which were open in the primary department of the Waynetown schools. She was a graduate of Danville Normal College at Danville, Ind and of Mrs. Blaker’s School at Indianapolis. She was a prominent leader in Wallace Church and social activities. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Miss Beulah Zuck at home; one son, Gerald W. of Indianapolis and two brothers, Bent Wilkiinson of Wallace and Earl Wilkinson of Crawfordsville. A family funeral will be held from the home in Wallace at 1 p.m. Sunday. The body will then be taken to the Wallace Christian Church to lie in state form 1:30 until 2 o’clock at which time the funeral service will be held. Rev.
