Mrs. Pearl Adeline
Zook, 61, 851 Territorial died at 4:20
this morning at Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in
Crawfordsville, Ind on March 6, 1882 and married Clarence Zook, who survives in
Crawfordsville on March 5, 1900. Mr. and Mrs. Zook came to Benton Harbor in
1918. Surviving besides her husband are
11 children: Norman Zook, Mrs. Viola Parsons, Raymond Zook, Mrs. Dorothy Smith,
David Zook, Mrs. Mary Boozer, Robert Zook, Mrs. Nellie Bryant, Clarence Zook,
Jr. Mrs. Rosalle Ewers and Miss Phyllis Zook all of Benton Harbor. Other
survivors are two brothers, Elba and Ralph Zachary, both of Benton Harbor and
two sisters, Mrs. Maud Hughes, Toledo, Ohio and Mrs, Opal Lane in Claifornia
and 18 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock
Monday afternoon at the Florin Funeral Home with the Rev. HA Blanning, pastor
of the First Congregational Church officiating. Burial will be at Crystal
Springs Cemetery. - kbz
