Mrs. Minnie Martin Zoda was born January 27, 1878; departed this life Oct. 2d, 1900, aged 22 years, 8 months and 5 days. She was married to Mr. John Zoda May 17, 1897. In their union they were blessed with two children, a son and daughter, of which the son survives. She leaves a loving father and mother, two brothers and four sisters to mourn her.
She accepted the call of her Savior at the early age of fifteen when she united with the Christian Church at this place. She afterward changed her membership to the Baptist Church, but it was her request that it be brought back to the place where she began her Christian life. Before her marriage she entered the profession of teaching, in which she acquitted herself creditably. She was an indulgent mother and a loving wife.
Her death is a great loss to her family and friends and is greatly mourned by the community. Her husband and family wish to express their grateful thanks to the friends and neighbors for their kindness showed them in their late bereavement. – thanks to “S” for this obit
