Herman Frederick Zimmerman, 72, of 1211 W. Main St., died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at his home. Born Sept. 23, 1904, he was a son of Henry and Anna Zimmerman of Jones County, Iowa. Survivors are his son, John of Crawfordsville; two brothers and two sisters in Iowa; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Lebber. Friends may call at Hunt & Son Funeral Home 4-8 p.m. Saturday. Arrangements are incomplete in Goettsch Funeral Home at Monticello, Iowa. – jlr

Services for Herman Zimmerman will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Goettsch Funeral Home at Monticello, Iowa. Burial will be in Oak Wood Cemetery. Friends may call at Hunt & Son Funeral Home 4-8 p.m. today and at the Goettsch Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Monday. Mr. Zimmerman of 1211 W. Main St. died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday in his home.
