Covington May 5 -- John Ziegler, well known farm residing cast of here, died at the family home Friday right at 7:30 o'clock following a second stroke of paralysis. Mr. Ziegler suffered his first stroke December 16 and since that time his health had failed rapidly. The deceased was united in marriage with Miss Mary Lang in Covington in 1875. Besides the widow five daughters and one son survive. The daughters surviving are Mrs. Leonard Vanz, Mrs. Mabel Frankenberger, Mrs. Lulu Martin and Mrs. Pearl Coffing, all of near Covington and Miss Blanche Zeigler at home. One son, Charles Zeigler of near Covington also survives. The funeral services will be conducted from the late home Monday afternoon at 2:30 Rev. Frank Reed of Indianapolis, a nephew will have charge.
