Waynetown - Jacob A. Zerface, a successful farmer and highly respected citizen died at his home here yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock of pneumonia after an illness since last Saturday . He was born July 14, 1860 at Waynetown the son of Martin and Mary Larew Zerface. On March 17, 1881, he was married to Sarah A. Lidster. He was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church. Surviving him are his wife, two sons, Sidney of Tower City, ND and Ernest of Chicago; one daughter, Mrs. Lydia Biddle of Waynetown and 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Wayentown Christian Church in charge of Rev. WD Headrick of Intdianapolis. Interment will be in the Wayentown Masonic Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
