Waynetown – Elmer J. Biddle has been called to Elmhurst, Ill because of the death of his brother-in-law Dr. James E. Zerface. He was 62. Dr. Zerface was a resident of the Waynetown community 24 years ago or more. He was born April 24, 1891 near Elmdale, the son of J.A. and Sarah A. Zerface. Survivors include his aged mother, Mrs. Sarah A. Zerface of Waynetown; one brother, Sydney A. Zerface of Tower City, ND; a niece, Mrs. Thelma Biddle Heidinger of Aurora, Ill. Miss Pearl Lidster and Mrs. Anna Parker of Waynetown are cousins. The father of Dr. Zerface and his sister, Mrs. Lyda A. Biddle, preceded him in death. The body will be returned to Waynetown for burial in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery, following services to be conducted at the Grenard and Servies Funeral Home Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. The body is expected to arrive at the Funeral home Tuesday evening. – kbz - thanks to the Proctors and their wonderful Waynetown Cemetery obituary database - kbz
