Mike Zeller, the well known Market street saloon keeper, died this morning at 4 o'clock. He had been ill for some time.

Michael Zeller departed this life last Friday at 4 o’clock, after seven months of suffering. He was born August 9th, in the year 1829, in Schweigen, Burgzabern County, Bavarian Germany.
He served six years in the German Army and was honorably discharged. After this service he came to this country and was married to Mary E. Lepper in 1863. There were born to them eight children, three sons and five daughters, all of whom survive him. He departed this life at the age of 66 years and 8 months.
The funeral services took place from St. Bernard’s Catholic Church Monday morning at 9 o’clock.
